i checked as many trademark sites as I could: US, UK, EU, Australia, Canada. Found no new logo.

Wack, is there a deadline by which teams have to tell the league they’re changing their jerseys / logo? I would think there is, but couldn’t find any information on the subject…

I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS5
Sadly Photoshop isn’t free I think CS5 is retailing for $489 on adobe.com right now… There are usually student discounts available that might help out, but if you’re looking into purchasing a version of Photoshop I’d recommend purchasing an older version.
I used Photoshop 7.0 for the longest time and for all intensive purposes it can do everything CS5 can. I don’t know how reliable the sellers are but two individuals on Amazon are selling 7.0 for roughly $75 USD (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000063EMG/ref=sr_1_2_olp?s=software&ie=UTF8&qid=1317054205&sr=1-2&condition=used).
As an alternative you could try GIMP which is a free Photoshop clone (I’d recommend trying this first if you’re new to graphic design: (http://getgimp.com/)).
Any chance they go back to their old colors and uniforms?
