Maccabi Tel Aviv, with Jordan Farmar at the point, has won the Angers Tournament, a three-game exhibition series in France.
Farmar averaged 14 points a game over the series which concluded with a blowout win Sunday over SLUC Nancy, 86--62. Farmar had 15 points, 6 assists, 4 steals.
Farmar started all three games with Theo Papaloukas, once called the "Jason Kidd of Europe", backing him up. With a veteran cast and one of Europe's top coaches, David Blatt, Maccabi is seen as the early favorite to win the Israeli, Adriatic and possibly even the Euroleague titles.
