Stay connected for news and updates

Jordan WIlliams, who averaged nearly a double-double in the Las Vegas Impact League, told his hometown newspaper that he found the experience a good one and hasn't yet decided whether to go overseas although he has offers.

Looking to be in good shape, Williams was playing in a charity game hosted by Ryan Gomes, another northwest Connecticut native who plays for the Clippers.

Williams ticked off the names of some of those who he faced in Las Vegas but said Derrick Caracter was his toughest challenge. "He’s a big guy," Williams said. "He played for UTEP. A real big, solid guy. A good player too. That was a lot of fun playing against him."
