New Jersey Nets

The Nets introduced Bob MacKinnon Jr. as head coach of the Springfield Armor, an appointment that will be made official Wednesday in Massachusetts.  MacKinnon already has a D-League championship to his credit winning with the Colorado 14ers in 2009.

"I'm very excited about the opportunity with the partnership between the Nets and the Armor, as this has become one of, if not the premier job in the D-League," said MacKinnon, Jr. "I'm looking forward to getting to work with Coach (Avery) Johnson, Billy King and Milton Lee."

Lee, the Armor GM, was in Springfield for the press conference introducing MacKinnon.
