Gaines, Moving Well and Teaming With KD, Scores 18 in Nike Pro City
Sundiata Gaines, who played his way into a guaranteed deal and then fractured his hip, scored 18 points on 7 for 15 shooting and looked good doing it Tuesday night at the Nike Pro City Tournament. But the big news was that Gaines teammate, Kevin Durant, scored 41, giving him 107 over two nights in the city.
Gaines reportedly moved well playing for The Franchise, which won, 146-143 in OT, over Big Apple Basketball. However, John Lucas III, who played point for Big Apple, hit for 60. Lucas' total topped the previous single game high in the Baruch College league: 48 by MarShon Brooks two weeks ago. Gaines and Brooks could see action against each other next week in the league championships.

Great game for Sundiata
Looks as if he’s back to form. Wish him the best in the “potential” season ahead.

A great pickup last season
Just another one of those “crazy Billy King Philly days” contracts I suppose. A great 3rd string PG.

Why?
Sissies can’t play street ball. It’s a rugged game that you should have learned in tour teens. Unless you mean the new style of all the fancy dribble and jive?

Well the Baruch games
Are more formal than Rucker games they have NBA refs run set plays and theres more defense played.
"We're not there yet, but we're going somewhere," Johnson said. "And we're going to Brooklyn. We're not going to contract. We're going to Brooklyn."
Nobody plays defense in these games ?
Maybe that’s why the Knicks sellout the Garden every night…

I'm guessing when Marshon comes back he will go for
66 or 72 or something.
