Mitchell Interviews for T'Wolves Job; Fratello Could Get Call Too
Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Timberwolves will interview Sam Mitchell for their head coaching vacancy on Friday. Larry Brown will be interviewed next week. Although Mitchell has been a fan favorite for the job, earlier reports had Minnesota GM David Kahn not very high on the Nets lead assistant.
Mitchell played 10 of his 12 NBA seasons in Minnesota. He was head coach at Toronto for four plus years, winning Coach of the Year honors in 2007, then getting fired in 2008. Peter Vecsey reported at the end of last season that Mitchell was unlikely to return to the Nets and he spent some of the spring promoting Canada's new National Basketball League.
Meanwhile, Darren "Doogie" Wolfson of ESPN Radio in Minneapolis says "don't be surprised" if Mike Fratello (now in Lithuania practicing with the Ukrainian National League) also gets an interview.

asst coaches
There are Loyer, Barrise, and Overton in asst coaches.
We need to find more asst coaches.
1 - D. Williams / J. Farmar / S. Gaines / B. Uzoh
2 - A. Morrow / M. West / S. Graham / M. Brooks
3 - T. Outlaw / D.James
4 - K. Humpries / D. Gadzuric / B. Wright / J. Williams
5 - B. Lopez / J. Petro
remember Barrise was LFrank's lead assistant
would he go with him to Detroit? Might know tomorrow. L gets introduced in Detroit.
Larry Brown getting a interview as well
Mitchell is expected to interview Friday or Saturday, while Brown is scheduled for next week.
Somebody explain how he gets fired and years later all is forgiven.
