In the championship game of the Dyckman tournament, Sundiata Gaines hit for 21 to lead all scorers, but for the second time in a week, his team lost a streetball title, with his Ooh-Way team falling to Team Nike in a controversial overtime contest.
A week ago, with his injured hip bothering him, Gaines had to sit out the fourth quarter in the Nike Pro-City Tournament final as his Franchise team lost to Dyckman/NYAC. Players often move around in the various summer streetball tournaments. Gaines was reportedly in talks with an Israeli team earlier in the week.
