Mitchell Decision Likely This Week
The Nets have one coaching vacancy, with Larry Krystkowiak having departed for the University of Utah. They'll learn later this week if Sam Mitchell is headed for the head coaching job in Minnesota, giving them two.
While it's been reported that P.J. Carlesimo is a "strong" candidate for one of those jobs, he isn't the only one and no one expects a quick decision. If Mitchell doesn't get the job in Minnesota, he's likely to return.

if they would relocate to NJ
I wonder how much say Avery has in hiring assistant coaches.
Does King hire them or does someone else in the Nets hierarchy call the shots ?

but from what I know, it’s more Avery. He has to work with them.
King hires the scouts and a number of them, Zanin, Cvjeticanin, Ferry, are buddies from past jobs.
