Mitchell Looking More Like Favorite in Timberwolves Coaching Search
Sam Mitchell wouldn't talk much about his interview with Timberwolves front office Tuesday, but beat reporter Jerry Zgoda tweeted that the Nets lead assistant and 2007 Coach of the Year "sounded relaxed and confident".
In both a tweet and story, Zgoda indicated that if Wolves' owner Glen Taylor is making the decision, Mitchell's chances are "excellent" and "THE favorite", but "much less so if it's (GM) David Kahn's call..."

Let him go
We need to rebuild our coaching staff given the losses we have faced.
Good luck to Mitchell, i hope the Wolves take him as head coach – he did fine in Toronto and he is a local favourite.
Plus if we do have a lockout for a season this loss of coaches won’t hurt us.

Good luck to him
He’ll need it working for Kahn. Twolves have some good pieces to work with for the future.
Maybe we should bring in Patrick Ewing.

plenty of good assistants out there
avery wanted a former head coach to be his lead assistant last year. I assume that is still true.
Oh no!
Now who will do the half time interviews??? That’s all this guy seemed to do.

This should be every half time interview for every game...
Robot announcer: “Well Travis, what adjustments should the Nets make in the second half ?”

Travis: “Don’t play me..”
