In an ESPN Roundtable 5-5 Discussion, writers were asked what teams with major 2012 Free Agents should do. Given three options all of them suggested the Nets Keep Deron Williams or else the NETS "have been just taking a few steps backward."

One suggested that the move to Brooklyn will change the losing culture of the team, but still believes that the NETS need another all star (Dwight Howard) and a veteran wing scorer, to ultimately convince Deron to remain with the team.
