Jordan Farmar's basketball camp, "Hoop Farm", is very different from other camps. First of all, he's there the entire time, not dropping by at day's end to talk to the campers. But more than that, Farmar offers campers yoga lessons, leadership skills training and nutritious meals, not the standard fare.
"We really preach about taking care of the environment so we recycle everything and we make it a point of emphasis to the kids" Farmar tells Yahoo!. "Also just taking care of each other, being good teammates, friends, helping each other along the way, and using basketball as a vehicle to make all that happen."
The point guard also talks about how he's happy and excited to be with the Nets, noting that he has a player option at the end of the coming season.
