The Nets' D-League affiliate, the Springfield Armor, presented the local Red Cross with a check for $25,000 Wednesday to help with tornado relief efforts, part of which came from the Nets.

Billy King said the Nets were happy to help their new affiliate "alleviate some of their pain and suffering" from the June 1 tornado which killed four and left 500 homeless.
