If Deron Williams does indeed play in Turkey next season, he may play a game or two against Sasha Vujacic. According to a report, Vujacic is close to signing a deal with Anadolu Efes, another Istanbul team. Vujacic, however, would be signing for the full season. He's a free agent and wouldn't need to return to the NBA should the lockout end in time for the league to hold a game. The Nets' second round pick, Bojan Bogdanovic, has already signed with a third Istanbul team, Fenerbache, the Turkish League champion and Euroleague powerhouse.
Efes finished fourth in the TBL last season and is a Euroleague team that plays in a larger arena than Besiktas. Former Net Bostjan Nachbar played the last two seasons for Efes, but will not be returning for the coming season.
