Three guys I'd love the Nets to target at 27 (assuming we don't move up in the draft at all). We've heard plenty about Brooks, Lee, Harris, Harper, etc. And I like these next three better than ALL of them.
1) Jeremy Tyler
I don't know that much about this kid... but I haven't really seen him mentioned on NetsDaily at all. He's a monster (size-wise). 6'10", 262 lbs. 7'5" wingspan. 34 inch vert. He has close to the same lane agility and sprint speeds as Favors. The bad news - he came into the combine at around 13% body fat, and there are a lot of maturity questions. But at one point, before going to Israel, he was projected to be a top 5 pick in the draft. I'd gladly risk a late first round pick on someone with this SIZE. I think he would come in and immediately be more aggressive than Favors.

2) Josh Selby
We've talked about him plenty. I think the Nets need someone with this mentality. Scoring ability, pure and simple. Athletic, can play the 2. Another top 10 prospect who experienced a fall-from-grace. I think he'll be 10x the player he was in college once he's in the NBA.
3) Tyler Honeycutt
He's just thin as a rail. But he has a big wingspan and could turn into a really, really good defender. I think his shooting will also improve, as he already has a knack for scoring.
As you can probably tell... I want to take a chance on Jeremy Tyler. But I'd be happy with a lot of guys this year, really. I'm actually more excited for this year than last year. We all knew it was Favors/Cousins... and I never really had a doubt in my mind it would be Derrick.
I think Tyler looks AS good as Favors did from highlights... and he appears more aggressive. I think he's made some terrible decisions thus far in his short career, but he could be high risk/high reward.
