The Nets billboard closest to the Barclays Center construction site now features Jay-Z, Brooklyn's own, replacing Deron Williams whose face has graced the ad since it went up. Don't worry. It's not some subtle suggestion that the Nets have lost confidence D-Will is staying. Nor is it related to the impending lockout. It's just a way to show that the arena will feature more than basketball and capitalize on Jay-Z's connection to the team, says a Nets official.
