"We really want some 3-point shooters -- that's huge for us. If we had a backup point, as well as a great shooter, that's one of our basic needs," said Silas.
The Bobcats are looking to trade for a backup PG and 3pt shooter. It so happens that Jordan Farmar and Anthony Morrow would fit the bill perfectly. Charlotte has the 9th and 19th pick in the draft. Farmar and Morrow also would work in a Stephen Jackson trade. We could also package Farmar, Morrow, Petro, 27th pick for Boris Diaw's expiring contract and their 9th pick.
I like the Diaw trade because we can clear 9 mil off the summer of Dwight and in the meantime fill a need at SF and draft Bismack Biyombo, Chris Singleton,Jimmer Fredette or Marshon Brooks. As much as I like Farmar he is a luxury at this point since DWill is going to get the lion's share of minutes at PG and Farmar is undersized defensivley to play SG. Morrow is also one of my favorite Nets but he is not the answer at SG, he is more of a backup. Morrow is from Charlotte so he should be agreeable to the trade. We could then make a run at Nene and draft Marshon Brooks, who's stock is skyrocketing in pre-draft workouts and measured in with a 7-1 wingspan. Or we could then draft Biyombo to backup Lopez and Hump giving us a formidable frontcourt.
