The Nets Dancers held auditions in Brooklyn Saturday. They've already held one in New Jersey. But the big selling point for the team is not a new arena or even New York. It's about seeing the world. In the past two years, the Nets Dancers have traveled to Korea, the Philippines, England, China, Mexico and Russia, their last trip earlier this month to Moscow.
Said Kimberlee Garris, who as the team's entertainment manager runs the Dancers: "We're looking for ladies who can be good ambassadors for our organization in the NBA. They need to travel the world to perform on our behalf and to speak on behalf of the league."
