Leslie to Highlight Final Workout

Stay connected for news and updates

Travis Leslie, a 6'4" swingman on the first round bubble, will be the big name at the PNY Center Monday when the Nets hold their final scheduled workout before Thursday's draft.  Leslie, who many think was the best athlete in college basketball this season, played on the wing for Georgia.

Of the other five participants, only one, Ben Hansbrough of Notre Dame, is listed in the major mock drafts. Others in town include Mustapha Farrakhan, the grandson of Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam, a 6'8" forward; Bengaly Fofana, a 6'11" power forward/center out of France; Greg Washington, a slightly shorter power forward out of Hofstra and another  local product, St. John's 6'2' shooting guard Dwight Hardy.

While this is the last scheduled workout, the Nets have in recent years brought in players for last minute individual workouts as prospects have gathered in New York for the Draft.
