I still think D Will is better than CP3, especially after injury

by Scooby803 on Jun 1, 2011 2:59 PM EDT reply actions

I'd put these 9 guys in the top 10 somewhere -

Lebron
Dwight
Wade
Kobe
Durant
Dirk
Deron
Paul
Rose

Not sure who the 10th guy would be. I would flip flop depending on the day. Could be Amare one day , Ginobli another , Gasol another , and so on.

Alright heres my top 15, I still debate the order sometimes, but
  • 1 LeBron
  • 2 Dwight
  • 3 Wade
  • 4 Kobe
  • 5 Dirk
  • 6 Durant
  • 7 Paul
  • 8 Deron
  • 9 Rose
  • 10 Amare
  • 11 Pau
  • 12 Melo
  • 13 Rondo
  • 14 Manu
  • 15 Griffin

This is assuming all players are healthy
And Im sure tomorrow I could look at this list and say “What was I thinking?”

Probably next season

Rondo is extremely overrated, he's at least top 50 and at the most top 30.

But he isn’t all that great other than his defense, his ability to score on the break, and his passing. But his team is good and other players would have much more assist if they were in that team instead of him.

And of course it figures they put Amare and Melo directly in front of Dwill

so that he is not in the top ten. Daily News is terribly predictable.

And Dwight Howard not in the top 5, or 3 for that matter

is ridiculous.

i realize this is subjective, but really?

Rondo at 12? Brother can’t hit the broad side of a barn and he plays with three probable HOFers. It’s a lot easier to look good when you’ve got Pierce, Garnett and Allen around you. Let’s see Rondo’s numbers in another year or two when those three are gone (or their skills are further diminished.)

Duncan at 20? He’s a shell of his former self. HOF the second he’s eligible. But sorry, he’s a nice guy, but not top 20. Not anymore.

And Love at 18? Did anyone see the year he just had? Perhaps you need to adjust a bit because he was on an awful team but tell me… if you could have Love, Bosh or Amare, who are you taking? I’ll take Love, thank you.

There is no way dirk would be that high on everyones' lists

If he wasn’t playing the best basketball of his career in these playoffs. He is the most underrated player in the league and now he is finally getting the respect he deserves.

by dotnet on Jun 5, 2011 1:14 PM EDT reply actions

How does anybody think that Chris Paul is worthy of a top 10 spot?

He hasn’t been himself for two years, couldn’t score more than 16 points last year yet still played 80 games, and hasn’t done anything for the hornets. He is a baby and wants out of New Orleans but is too afraid to say it like Lebron. I garentee he does exactly what Lebron did, starting with demanding more players.

by Mas10121 on Jun 5, 2011 6:47 PM EDT reply actions

you guys are putting howard a little too high

I know you guys want him and all but NO way is he better than Rose, Kobe or Dirk. I agree with the News he is probably 7th, as good as he is he can’t hit a jumper and shots pathetically awful from the foul line (probably worse than Shaq its debatable). Amare is too high, he had a great half year and then typical 2nd half, hes top 15. Williams cracks 10, but they’ll give the edge to Melo’ because it’s NY, but there close in terms of TALENT (Dwill makes players better but thats not his pure talent)…

by davidnets on Jun 6, 2011 10:40 PM EDT reply actions

Obviously Melo on that list

Is an utter joke. His teams fortunes improved dramatically once they traded him, and Amar’e fell off as soon as the Knicks acquired him.
