Ok, we will all know what happened back in the famous Summer of 2010 when July 8th,2010 had rolled around.... Yes Mr. James had decided to take his talents to Miami and play for the Heat.. Unfortunately for the Cavs, they lost him without getting anything in return.  Mr.Otis Smith of the Magic did say a month or so ago that he doesn't intend to trade Howard and that he'll wait till FA for him to make his decision(hmm... we've seen this happen before), is he telling the truth or a lie? After all, why did Otis say he offered Howard a two year contract extension yet Howard had denied ANY offer was made to him. Now I know some of you may say "We're tired of the same old fanposts", but maybe we should starting taking notice that once the CBA is finalized, Howard will have a decision to make, is he going to neglect that contract or sign it? If he neglects, does Otis realize he'll have to get rid of him... Between June and July, there may be a ton of drama that can unfold. Yes folks, that contract extension will be the turning point of the offseason for the Magic. Will Otis hold true to his words and not trade Howard or fork him over to the team where Kobe is hungry for a third title or will he fork Howard over to the Brooklyn Nets? I guess what I'm really trying to say is, Howard could very well be a goner between now and July.
