The best point guard in the NBA...

The best overall point guard in the NBA is Deron Williams. Pre-injury it was CP3.

Note: Even pre-injury CP3 was never the defender Deron is. Some people like to claim that Paul was a better defender but when push came to shove Paul was / is more of a gambler / flopper who doesn’t hold his ground or track his man around screens as well as Deron does.

Deron Williams with a doubt

Rose may be the best “guard” but Ill take Deron any day. I thought Rose was a below average passer before this series, and now his inability to get the ball to Boozer the way Deron did just solidifies it.

"LeBron puts up great numbers, can't close w/o DWade. LeBricked 3 late 3s when shouldve been driving, getting to line. What else new?"

Yet casual basketball fans think he is a God, and would exhaust their entire squads to land him...

D-Rose...

Rose is good but he’s shooting 37.9% from the field through 3 games against the PACERS and he’s averaging as many turnovers as assists.

when healthy it is chris paul

he is showing now what he can do with a horrible team. play with the defending champs. i love dwill and am still shocked we got him but paul has never had anyone better than d west on his team and has done wonders.
my order would be:
1. paul
2. d will
3. rose
4. westbook
5. rondo

That is exactly right.

Derrick Rose = Allen Iverson+practice

He dominates games with his speed and penetration, but that’s about it. He’s still lacking in a lot of PG skills, and unless he can dominate with his speed, he has nothing. As soon as Harris and Iverson slowed down, they became ineffective at PG. The flaws in their games were exposed and it really hurt their productiveness.
