Best case scenario.
1)They need a starting SG. Morrow and Sasha are above average back-ups but lack starting material.
2) Need post dominance. Lopez doesn't do that.
3) a small foward
4) Defense.
Here's how i see this going togather in my head. Stay with me i know this seems farfetched. It's just a thought.
I see GSW as a team that wants to move their pieces around. So my move would be to trade Brook for Monta Ellis or Stephon curry. Both are very good shooters. They are a bit undersized but deadly. We could even dump outlaw on them. We would also be able to avoid having to give lopez a huge contract.
We obviously should go after howard but until then we should sign David West to a 2 year deal and also go after Joel P. ( i cant spell his last name). We could also go after tyson chandler.
In this off-season we should go after Wilson Chandler to fill the Sf spot.
and in 2012 we should obv get Howard.
so in 2012 out team looks like this.
Williams/Farmar
Ellis/Morrow
Chandler/James
West/Hump
Howard/Joel P.
I think that would be the perfect scenario and although unlikely to happen i think that team would win big. Besides for West it would be young too.

lets go get antwan jamison or elton brand .. interior defense , scoring and they both bring experience and toughness..this even opens up more plays for our shooters…and we could go small when need be .. or we could go and get some role players jason maxiell james posey ..

enough with this "trade lopez" stuff
he’s the second best player on the team. unless we’re trading him for dwight howard or kevin love, i don’t want to do it. the nets have had the same problem for the last two years – they lack wings who can shoot, drive and defend. fix this problem and you have a playoff team.

Lopez is not a beast otherwise the Nets would have more than 19 wins.
But he should not just be traded has haphazardly suggested in this post. And in these posts, you have to have some resembalance to reality. As someone above already mentioned, the salary cap would prevent most of these moves.
Forget trading Brook Lopez he's probably the best offensive skilled Center in the league and he's ours...
…he only needs to add some pounds to get thougher, he has lost some because of the mono. Next season he’s gonna be better in that area, and all of you are forgetting how young he is, and how Center is the position that takes more time to reach max potential, he’s going to get better and better, and….. oh well, we have Deron Williams!

Drugs are dangerous, you shouldn’t do them, and then type weird stuff on NETSDAILY. We are not trading Brook, unless Dwight comes back in return. Given age and upside, the only center that I would take over Brook, would be Dwight. We should try to sign DWest or Wilson Chandler. I don’t want Monte Ellis or Steve Curry. Morrow and Sasha are good enough at the two. First we need a small forward, then a PF to split the time with HUMPH.

forget that situation of going after superplayers dreaming that they will sign with us...
…. we lost that battle to many times with Lebron, Wade, Boozer, Melo…. and that’s 2 summers away, waiting for that can cost us Dwill, and this summer FAgents, we have to gamble this summer to put together a championship team…. with Dwill you need few players to achieve championship contending!
No, at SG I agree we need a defensive guy..
..to cover the immensive talented SG in the league that usually are the opponent’s best player.
My 1st choice is Afllalo he’s a great defender, and has developed nicely his shooting game lately.
My 1st choice at the 3 positions we need are all Nuggets players, at SF Chandler, and at PF Nene, they have so many people to resign that we may be able to steal them 1 or 2 guys, Afllalo and Chandler would be a dream situation, joining DWEst.
yes, Nene for sure, Afllalo probabbly to, but Chandler I 'm not so sure...
they have Gallo, Harrington and Forbes at SF.
They have 4 guys (Chandler, Afllalo, Nene, JR Smith) that will demand some big buckets, so they might let go away someone, and other we can outbid them.
chandler and harrington are prob available
also jr smith is gone probably
I we only can grab one guy I would prefer Affllalo...
because in the other positions maybe easier to get West and AK47 to join him.
