The Deron Williams trade is genious....If he signs a contract extentionn, if he doesn't....epic fail

The chances of this actually happening are actually pretty good, Williams was reportedly furious when he was first informed of the trade, he has never missed the playoffs and doesn't like to loose, and he wants to play on a good team...Morrow,Vujacic, Outlaw, Humphries and Lopez are not the best supporting cast in the NBA, in fact it is one of the worst...Not to mention the fact Outlaw and Petros bad contracts will kill cap room for another guy...

If I was King I would take the Portland/OKC route and build thru the draft...

1) Trade Harris to Atlanta for Bibby and a 1st rd pick

2) Trade Bibby to The Clippers for B. Davis and a 1st rd pick

I just kept the PG situation status quo (maybe even upgraded) and added 2 more 1st rd picks...

The could also buy late 1st and early 2nd rd picks for usually $3 Mil...

I'm just not sure the Nets will be able to sign DWill long term, they could always trade him at the deadline tho...maybe they get back more than they gave up
