MIkhail Prokhorov was awarded the French Legion of Honor Tuesday for his contributions to art, technologyy and cultural cooperation between France and Russia. While noting that he usually maintains his emotions (which he described as the province of "girls and artists"), Prokhorov admitted, "I will not deny that I am very pleased to receive this award." Calling Prokhorov an "an entrepreneur with a sincere appreciation for art", France's ambassador to Russia made the presentation in Moscow. The award comes three years after Prokhorov was detained by French police on suspicion of pimping in the French Alpine resort of Courchevel.
