N.J Nets
Even if the Nets make the playoffs or not theres going to be some rumbling in NJ as Billy King will try to put a playoff caliber team on the court next year to play along with D-Will. If the Nets want D-Will to stay they must make the playoffs next year. Its not even worth trying to get D-Will to sign an extension with the team we have no. So we definetly must make the playoffs, and also have to fill some holes on our roster. So, heres our roster position by position Point Gaurds- Deron Williams, Jordan Farmar, Sundiata Gaines, and Ben Uzoh I think Gaines has played great for us so I would sign him for the rest of the year then give him a 2-year deal in the summer. Unfortuantly I would release Ben Uzoh he played good with us, he has good defense, but his offense only shows once and a while. Shooting Gaurds-Anthony Morrow, and Sasha Vujacic The shooting gaurd position looks very good, but if the Nets want to bolster it up a little they could try to pursue Jason Richardson this offseason. It would be a good fit, if they get him they could probably move Sasha to small forward. Small Forward-Damion James, Travis Outlaw, Quinton Ross, and Stephan Graham This position does't need that much help. Damion James would be a starter, but if the Nets were smart they should trade Ross for a draft pick maybe a 2nd or 3rd. Other than that this position looks pretty good. Power Forward-Kris Humphries, and Brandon Wright The Nets have to sign Hump, I would probably keep Wright because he's young and is a pretty skilled player he just hasn't got that much playing time. But, the Nets have to sign a Power Forward this summer whether it's Randolph or West. I think Z-Bo would be a good fit because he's only 29 and can give you 10 points and 10 rebounds any given day. West could also be a good fit because he's a proven scorer, and averages about 7 rebounds a game, and he's also only 30. West was also born in Teaneck, NJ. Center- Brook Lopez, Johan Petro, and Dan Gadurikz Dan will definetly be gone, everybody knows he doesn't want to be here. Lopez is our 2nd best player and will be lookin to have a great year since he's in his contract year. Petro has another 2 years left so we're stuck with him because of Rod Thorn
