Murphy Moves On...to Boston

85

After a season of frustration, then a trade and a buyout, Troy Murphy has signed with the Celtics, meaning he will get a chance, on March 14, to prove his quiet claim, "I know what I can do." Murphy, whose acquisition on August 11 was hailed as a coup, got hurt early and then lost his minutes to Kris Humphries and Derrick Favors. He averaged 3.6 ppg and 4.2 rpg for the Nets after going 14 and 10 with the Pacers last season.
