Hey Everyone
I know we all just heard about Rasual Butler's supposed list of teams he would like to join. Though it was nice to see the Nets with some great company, I think it's safe to assume a team like Chicago who has needed help at the SG/SF spot with some outside shooting for so long will swoop him up.
This report that I saw on realgm.com from Marc Stein ESPN states that Corey Brewer will be bought out by the Knicks who just received him in the trade for Melo.
As a die hard Nets fan, I think we may want to think about Corey and offer him a chance. I doubt that he is looking for a heavy and long term contract. He is still quite young (24) and has a defensive mentality. Many people were quite pleased with his progression last season even though he hasn't lived up to his potential yet.
He would really help us out at the 2 and 3 position from a defensive standpoint and maybe Avery can squeeze a little more out of him than Minnesota was able to. He has never played with even a top 50% pg in this league and to then jump to Deron Williams, maybe he will respond. Besides, we really don't have an exciting dunker on our team anymore since Twill left and since Djames has yet to really throw it down. I know many of us remember the dunk on derek fisher.... DunkaLicious
Anyways Here are some of his stats
| 2009-10 | 23 | MIN | NBA | 82 | 82 | 30.3 | 5.0 | 11.6 | .431 | 1.0 | 2.9 | .346 | 2.0 | 3.1 | .648 | 0.9 | 2.5 | 3.4 | 2.4 | 1.4 | 0.4 | 2.0 | 2.7 | 13.0 |
| 2010-11 | 24 | MIN | NBA | 56 | 22 | 24.3 | 3.0 | 7.8 | .384 | 0.5 | 1.8 | .263 | 2.2 | 3.1 | .708 | 0.8 | 1.9 | 2.7 | 1.4 | 1.6 | 0.3 | 1.4 | 2.4 |

I think he deserves a shot if we can get him to a small contract.. I really think he would be better for the team than Ross, Graham, and Outlaw.
