I like Devin Harris.  I think he's underrated and is a solid above-average PG in this league.  I think the Nets should have tried to keep him.  But if wants out, and I can't blame him for that, I guess we can't keep him.

But did we HAVE to LEAK that he wants out? Now no one wants him and we are poised to get ripped off again.  We could have gotten picks and/or a young player for him, now it looks like we're getting stuck with a 35-year old PG in Andre Miller or an expiring useless contract in Butler.  This Nets FO is really starting to bother me.  Like, I don't blame them for the Melo whiff. There's nothing they could have done.  But this Harris thing is just simply bad management.  Especially Avery Johnson.  He has now blown it on

1) Harris

2) Outlaw

3) Murphy

4) T-Will

Before the season, I thought Harris, Murphy, and T-Will would be three of the top four players on this year's Nets.  Not unreasonable, right, but Avery Johnson pushes them all out because he develops irrational dislikings to players!! He is a terrible coach and its terrible that he has such a hand in the front office.  The Nets are going downhill and I am just getting sick of it.
