We find ourselves in a similar situation to February 2001. If you all can remember those were dark times as well. We had one top draft pick in Kerry Kittles missing his 2nd consecutive season with knee issues, our top dog Kenyon Martin going down with a leg (the same injury that ruined his POY year in college), our franchise center's career being ruined (i can still hear the sound of Jayson's leg snapping under Steph's overpaid ass) and the ultimate inmate running the asylum in Starbury, fresh off his all-star weekend shootout vs Kobe Bryant.
The only thing worse then that run-on sentence was the New Jersey Nets in February of 2001. I hate to compare but Keith Van Horn had that same look that Brook now has night-in, night-out. Now, in no way am i trying to compare Harris' value to Steph's or Favors' upside to K-Mart's but we stood pat and built though trades and the draft. A Finals appearance is not on the horizon, but trading established NBA players like Devin for cap space in a knee-jerk reaction to the Melo disaster is not what we need. Patience is a virtue.
