Uzoh Moves Up in Rookie Rankings

Stay connected for news and updates

Derrick Favors wound up at #6 again this week in David Thorpe's Rookie Rankings, but undrafted rookie Ben Uzoh moved up a bit.  After being stuck in the 40's or lower, Uzoh made it all the way up to #33, based in large part on his performance vs. Denver, where he filled in for Jordan Farmar.

"Uzoh had a fine game against Denver, the team he would have ended up playing for if the Nets had worked out a Melo trade," writes Thorpe. "He had four assists and three steals in just 13 minutes".  With Farmar still out, expect Uzoh and 10-dayer Orien Greene will split time behind Devin Harris Wednesday.
