It's the last game before the All-Star Break which for the Nets is a prelude for the London Games. Lots of time off and games away from home. All told, the Nets will play one game at The Rock over the next three weeks.
The Celtics are once again the best team in the East, having as one blogger noted taken up permanent residence inside the collective head of the Miami Heat. Like their last opponent, the Spurs, the Celtics are a disciplined group of veterans. They are, however, hurting with DeLonte West re-injuring his wrist Monday, Shaquille O'Neal most likely out through the All-Star Break and both Jermaine O'Neal and Marquis Daniels definitely out.
As for the Nets, they are as healthy as they have been all year. Damion James should be back from a broken foot and only Troy Murphy will be staying behind as the Nets try to trade him and his $11.9 million expiring contract. One interesting matchup: the best three point shooter in NBA history (Anthony Morrow) vs. the most prolific three point shooter in NBA history (Ray Allen).
