Avery Johnson revealed Friday at shootaround that Devin Harris played through a fever and a stomach virus on Wednesday against the Hornets. Johnson waited until the last possible minute to keep Harris on the active list and Harris scored just two points on three shots in the Nets' win, but his counterpart, Chris Paul, wasn't much better.
Paul, who missed a last second shot that would have won the game, was fined $15,000 by the NBA for verbal abuse of a referee, claiming that he'd been fouled by Jordan Farmar.
Meanwhile, it's time to say goodbye to Orien Greene, whose 10-day contract has expired after playing just six minutes with the Nets. Greene could be back after the All-Star break, or the Nets could look to go bigger with another 10-day player.
