Reminder: Site Rules and Guidelines
Nets fans, as you can probably tell, the site has been crazy busy over the last few days and is sure to get even busier in the days to come. We had over 8,000 comments on Thursday, a day in which the Nets' only move was hiring a strength and conditioning coach.
That's a great thing. We love that we have a robust and active community. BUT, this site is what it is because of the quality of the community, as much as the quantity of the comments.
Please take the time to read over the Site Rules and Guidelines. Know that the rules WILL be enforced, and you will be banned if you continuously violate them.
Also, please do your part by flagging comments you come across that are inappropriate or violate the rules. We don't have the ability to monitor every comment as it's posted, so your assistance is needed.
Remember, keep the keep the conversation civil, respectful, and family-friendly. Discuss the topic and refrain from taking shots at or trying to belittle your fellow members of the community.
If you have any issues or questions, please e-mail us.

Some rules are too vague
I know that there are rules, but some are so vague that they can go either way. For example, some get called a troll just for merely disagreeing even though no personal attacks were made. There are others who tend to get very defensive when hearing something that doesn’t agree with them and go after them as if they were a religious zealout on it. Although I don’t mind hearing criticisms on those that take different sides, personal attacks made on other commenters shouldn’t be made nor should they be done on who was being interviewed or on the editor themselves. Just making fun of their names can be seen as an insults. Sometimes, when I have asked for others to show proof for their claims when I have shown mine, they act very defensive and may even demand for censorship just for asking. Also, I think that anyone who posts with an image that is used to make an insult should either be banned or given severe warnings, because where I come from, this is from those that refuse to have a debate, and it sort of goes with personal attacks. In all honesty, sometimes it’s those who are on fansites that can be trolls especially when they tend to be the trolls. Overall, there is a fine line between just disagreeing with a viewpoint compared to making personal attacks. One other thing, if one gets to have their say on something, it will only be fair to hear others have theirs’ without fearing others ganging up on them and going many against one.
