With their four best players apparently headed to East Rutherford for Nets training camp, the Armor still was able to eek out a win over the Maine Red Claws in Springfield. Lance Hurdle, a 6'2" guard out of Miami, had a career high 28 points and Jamar Brown, a 6'10" veteran, had 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Missing and presumed camp invitees were: JamesOn Curry, Dennis Horner, Jerry Smith and Jeff Foote.
