I watched the postgame last night and avery talked about starting to get a rotation together. If you look at both the minutes played, and the second half subs, this is what I see
-Guys Avery has settled on: Deron, Brooks, Morrow, Gaines, Humphries, Okur
-Guys fighting for spots: James, Stevenson, Shawne, Shelden, Petro
-Guys not part of things: Farmar, Horner
**What does everyone think?
2) I saw REAL progress IMHO last night. I know we lost, but I thought it was our best game: yea we beat Washington, but Atlanta is much better. We were in this game, step for step. To me, there is a key: We play Cleveland on their floor tomorrow: I know they have some impressive kids, but to build on last night's progress, with a day to rest, that's a game we need to win.
3) It's become obvious: Farmar's in the doghouse...and slated to soak up 4.25 mill in next year's cap space. Then, you look at our rotation, and the need for a body upfront is obvious: we are set at the guards. It feels like we need to deal farmar for that player; OR do what Utah did with Okur (salary dump farmar on another team), then sign a player.
