Making Christmas Merry in NJ, BKN
While the front office was putting the final touches on a Kris Humphries contract and even getting him a physical, his teammates, old and new, were in full Christmas mode, visiting a children's hospital in New Jersey and a community center in Brooklyn.
Brook Lopez, Anthony Morrow, Stephen Graham, Damion James, Sundiata Gaines, and MarShon Brooks visited pediatric patients at The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center. In Brooklyn, Deron Williams, Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro, Jordan Williams, and Shelden Williams brought holiday cheer to more than 250 families when they visit the Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Center.
"Just left the Bed-Stuy Family Center had a great time passing out Christmas gifts to the kids!," said Deron Williams. In Hackensack, James added, "Just left the Children's Hospital! The things those little ones go thru! My heart goes out to em! All of em!"

"It's as sweet as it ever was, I'll tell you. Now, hopefully, we started something and we can win some more championships, but we're going to enjoy this one right now. Have a little champagne." --Julius Erving, May 12, 1976, ABA champion Nets locker room.
You never know
Santa may be good to you this year.
RIP baby. I love you forever. Our dream of seeing D12 with the Nets is getting closer.

Not giving much validity to getting Dwight in the next 2 days, even with Hump. Thinks it will drag out for a while. Not sure about Kirilenko. Thinks D-will is gonna dislike losing. Yawn

We Will make the playoffs easily this year
I.DWill was hurt when we got him last year. He only shot 34.9% FG, 27.1% 3pt as a Net because of his wrist. He is a career 46% FG, 35.5% 3pt. Even at those poor levels he made us play much better. He has made the playoffs in the West with much less then we have now. Top 10 NBA players make you a playoff team.
II.We have improved our depth at every position.
Brooks >>>> Sasha
Shawne >>> Outlaw at SF and B Wright at PF
SheWill > Petro
DWill, Farmar, Gaines >>>> D Harris, Farmar, Uzoh
III. DWill, Morrow, James, Gaines are all healthy
IV. DWill, Lopez, Hump, Farmar, Shawne are in contract years. Contract years equal max effort
V. We are a young team in a short season. Teams like Boston, NYK, Orl have older brittle players.
VI. The most important thing is we have cap space to improve if we arent good enough as currently constructed. We have time to evaluate James as the starting SF. AK has until Jan 8th to opt out of his Euro contract. Wilson Chandler’s season in China ends in Feb. We are one of the few teams that will be able to sign him. All I read on ND for the last year is that Chandler is the best fit for the Nets. When did that change? I woulld rather wait for him then to sign someone just to sign someone.

WHOA WHOA WHOA
Check out what I just read in this Slam article about NBA Uni Changes this year.
The Nets will be bringing back the uniforms that Julius Erving first made famous in the 1970s and used through 1990 as alternate uniforms.

RIP baby. I love you forever. Our dream of seeing D12 with the Nets is getting closer.
Anthony Morrow is
just a 100% class act and a good person. I am proud to have you on this team! you’re here 1 year, not from this area and your comments are “i am sorry to the NJ fans for this strike..you deserve better in our last year here” ..
You’re a great guy. Helping these kids is testament. God Bless!
