Around SBN: Yankees Deny Rumors That Team Is For Sale

We somehow missed this, but Ben Uzoh, the Nets fourth string point guard last season, is in Charlotte Bobcats camp, presumably on a non-guaranteed deal.

Uzoh went undrafted out of Tulsa and was signed to a partial guarantee by the Nets last season. He averaged 4.2 points and 1.6 assists in 42 games with a high of 18.

not a weak draft after all

in fact, in backcourt, there are going to be a lot of good rookies.

Ben

He showed signs of an upside last year. I would rather have kept him, instead of Gaines.
But I understand that Avery wants a more experienced guard as #3 PG. I wish Ben well, he seemed like an earnest young guy.

I was surprised and happy to see him last night

Best of luck to him. He played better last night than he did during his NJ stint. I think he’ll find a spot on a team as a 3rd stringer soon.

Critical Success!
