Armor Likely To Fill Out Nets Roster
The Nets will have to announce their training camp roster next week and when they do, expect a couple of Armor players will join them in East Rutherford. On Monday, the D-League permitted each of its teams to add two players through December 16 to make up for the anticipated loss of current players to NBA camps.
On Friday, two Armor players looked particularly ready for camp: the team's only NBA veteran, JamesOn Curry, and Jeff Foote, the former Cornell center. In a tight loss to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the 6'4" Curry had 28 points and 10 rebounds. The seven-foot Foote also had a double-double, 13 points and 12 rebounds in less than 30 minutes. The Nets, of course, don't have to limit themselves to the Armor, being able to call up any D-Leaguer for camp.

outlaw is so bad
the jokes made their way into this thread
Nets can call up ANY D-League player
either during training camp or regular season.
Its smarter to call up Armor because they know the Nets system, jargon, organization…and time is of the essence.

Is Jeff Foote better than Petro? Than I want him..
