The Nets officially announced their two-game preseason schedule on Friday. They will host the Knicks at the Prudential Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. The two teams will then play four days later, Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden.
Tickets for the Newark game can be purchased on njnets.com or via 1-800-4-NBA TIX, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday (Dec. 3). They'll be available at the Prudential Center box office beginning Monday at 11 a.m.
Last year, the Knicks beat the Nets in their only preseason meeting. Two seasons ago, the Knicks won all three preseason meetings. The regular season schedule will be announced on NBA TV at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Earlier on Friday, the league added two Christmas games (Magic-Thunder and Clippers-Warriors) to the existing three-game slate.
