Shawne Williams admits it will be weird Saturday afternoon when takes the floor at the Prudential Center and looks down the other end of the court and sees the team that gave him a second chance last season. Less than 48 hours after agreeing to terms with the Nets, he will be facing his old team, the Knicks.
The 6'9" combo forward with the sweet stroke and 7'3" wingspan won't be starting but he is expected to play. And when he does, it will be all business just as his decision to join New Jersey was. "It was a career decision, and mostly a business decision," Williams said. "It was a hard decision to make, but I feel like I made the right decision. I did it for me, my family and my career, basically."
