Long day, tough day for Nets fans. So with all the anxiety, depression and anger out there, we looked for the best Nets related (off-court) comedy and came up with a short piece that ESPN's Page 2 offered on that weird juncture between the Nets and Russian politics: Mikhail Prokhorov's campaign for the Russian presidency.
Brian Frazer claims he has come up to "a preliminary list of campaign promises Prokhorov is expected to make." Here's a couple: "I promise to work tirelessly to deliver a center who will average at least eight rebounds a game and relieve the low-post burden from the little people" and "I will have the number 8 retired. And when I say 'retired' I mean you will no longer be permitted to even write that number in your checkbook.".
