Three way trade is good for every team involved, and it still leaves us with enough cap to make a major signing in 2012. We also get a serviceable 3, while New Orleans gets to dump salary, and sign you players with tons of upside, or we could just not take Ariza in the trade and have even more capspace. DWill could say, "hey, now we have Stat, you still wanna play for the Lakers?". The Knicks finally pair Paul with Anthony, and they get a more balanced attack.

Atlanta finally gets the center they covet, and can now rid themselves of Smith's 3pt shooting, while moving Horford to the 4. They also get to clear salary cap. If they don't like the Lopez, they can find a third team with a more defensive minded center and ship him there. We also stay below the cap to make a major signing. DWill could say "Hey, we have your best bud Josh Smith, you still wanna play for the Lakers?"
If all else fails, I say we preserve our capspace and offer a boatload of money to Kevin Love and pry him away form Minnesota. If DWill can sway Howard into making NJ his top priority, who's to say he can't do the same for Love? He'll definitely recognize that this is the place to be, considering with our new rich owner, we'll be the only team that can overspend once the revised luxury tax kicks in.
