Like many of you, I've been following this whole Magic saga since late thursday and I feel frustrated just sitting around waiting to find out what's going on. So I was thinking of a way to be proactive and get Dwight's attention to show him what kind of fans belong to this Nets team he may or may not end up playing for. What if we spread the word to as many die hard Nets fans as we could, and we all get on Dwight Howard's Twitter page and just flood the thing with hundreds and hundreds of messages from us? Instead of just saying generic things like "The Nets need you Dwight!" or "We love you in Jersey!", we could leave hundreds of little messages each stating a single positive fact related to the team, the arena, BK, etc. Almost like the fans are delivering a pitch of their own. We could have some that ask why he would ever want to follow the exact same path as Shaq when he can blaze a brand new trail in Brooklyn and make history everyday. I think if we got enough of us to overload his page with these intelligent selling points from Nets fans, he'd be sure to notice. We'd overshadow all the idiots that talk nonsense and trash other teams and even D12 himself. Obviously an organized group of fans isnt going to sway him one way or another, but I would imagine he'd have to at least be intrigued and maybe want to read a bunch of them. It'll be refreshing compared to what most of his other fans litter his page with words we cant write here on Netsdaily. That's positive reinforcement. When he thinks about The Nets and the fans he will have a positive feeling no doubt...unlike fans from certain other teams who have been sending him death threats haha. I think every little thing that can be done to show him how great this organization really is for him and his future is something we should absolutely go for.I know he already wants to play here but he also wants to play for 2 other teams. We need to try and push The Nets so far ahead in his mind that he speaks up and tells everyone that the list of his preferred destinations has been wittled down to just one. What do you guys think?
