With three of their best players in Nets camp and another in Trail Blazers camp, the Springfield Armor would appear to be at a disadvantage. Not so. For the second time in two nights, the short-ended Armor won, beating the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in overtime, and for the second time, Lance Hurdle led them. They're now 4-1.
The 6'2" Hurdle scored 27 points, one shy of his D-League high, which he had scored Thursday. He scored the key bucket to send the game into overtime and six of 10 in overtime. Hurdle is 21-for-40 in the two games. The Armor's Dennis Horner, Jerry Smith and JamesOn Curry are in Nets camp while Jeff Foote is in Portland.
