Farmar Sticking Around Israel
Jordan Farmar will play one more game with Maccabi Tel Aviv Thursday before flying home Saturday to Los Angeles, then to New Jersey. Under FIBA rules, NBA players under contract must return to the US upon ratification of the CBA. Some teams are requiring players to stay that long. Farmar's decision is his own.
Farmar said he was excited to play in what could be a crucial game for Maccabi Tel Aviv in two of the three leagues the club plays in. They'll face Partizan in Belgrade, which competes with Maccabi in both the Adriatic League and the Euroleague. Haaretz, the big Tel Aviv newspaper, called Farmar "beloved."
Both Deron Williams and Jordan Williams have returned to the US. No word yet on Sundiata Gaines.

DWills back in NYC
His wifes here too for a couple of days which makes me think they are apartment hunting together. No other reason for her to come back for a short period of time.

Definitely. Why did DWill tweet that he wouldn't come back until Friday?
Deron Williams
Back in NYC!!! Good to know I can still get turkish food when I want it. yfrog.com/o0fnxfxj
I assume one of his girls is still in school in Turkey. Wonder if his whole family came along?
Deron re-signing doubters seem to ignore the statement by Farmar:
Farmar recently said that the reason he was going to test free agency next summer was that “This is Deron’s team”.
He didn’t expect to get lots of PT with DWill here, although he appreciated all the PT he got last season.
Would Farmar know better than the average Nets fan what the thinking of DWill is??
DWill ain’t going anywhere.
DWill recently tweeted that he was at a Turkish restaurant in NYC.
You can’t do that in SLC and probably not in Dallas.
He was one of the better players for Macabi Electra
The Nets’ focus is on Deron Williams and building around him. So where does Farmar fit in?
He’s a good backup It’d be a shame to see him go but if he does get traded; assuming it’s for the betterment of the team; it was fun while it lasted.
