Can Outlaw get better?

Assuming the proposal for the Amnesty Clause (to be able to be used once over the length of the CBA) will go through, it means the Nets don't have to immediately use the Amnesty Clause on Outlaw. He did show his willingness to improve, and he did show signs of potential in his days in Portland. His huge contract can be kept to go past the cap, and can be used as a cap filler for trades, since Billy King (go BK!) has been very good with contracts that we don't have any big enough contracts to trade with.

He's been good in quite a few times, passing, scoring, rebounding and getting to the free throw line, but of course his entire performance was horrible at best.

My question is, do you think he will improve, or at least make his contract worth the seven million for five years. I gonna go ahead and be optimistic and say yes. =)
