Gaines Double-Doubles in Blowout as Nets Point Guards Dominate Europe

Sundiata Gaines had 14 points (on 5-for-7 shooting) and 12 assists as B.C. Armia, the Georgian Ministry of Defense team, beat MIA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs team, 100-62, the third time in three games Armia has won by 37 or more.  Gaines, in three games in the Georgian Superleague, is averaging 12.7 and 7.0.

Over their last three games, the three Nets point guards have been dominating their European leagues. Gaines double-double follows Jordan Farmar's 27 points and 5 assists (video) and Deron Williams 23 points and 8 assists (video) earlier in the week. The combined record of their three teams in various leagues and cups is 22-2 and they've reeled off a combined 17 straight (eight for Williams, six for Farmar and three for Gaines.) The last loss for any of them came October 21.
