I don't understand why so many people are talking about a potential downside of the Dwight trade talks as "alienating" Brook? First, he's not a rookie, so he should understand how the business works (different than with Favors last year). Also, if he is really that sensitive, than I don't want him around. I personally don't think he is, but you won't win in this league with an overly-sensative star...all the greats don't really worry about stuff like that and just play the game. Finally, he is being talked about as the centerpiece for a trade for arguably the best player in the league. This should actually be a boost to his confidence. Think about it - if you were getting traded for Babe Ruth, would you feel down that the team is trying to trade you or actually flattered that you would be considered valuable enough to bring in a player of that quality? So, please stop talking about Brook's "feelings" or how its going to impact his standing on the team...if anything it should help give him confidence that he's near Dwight's level!
