But before that, back in June, when talking to a Russian reporter in Moscow, Howard was asked what five NBA players he's like to team up with. ""Well, Chris Paul, Stephen Jackson...what's his name (smiling), Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow or, I got five, Monta Ellis, I like him."

it needs to happen fast……if this doesnt go down and lingers throughout the season, a domino effect will take place…..brook lopez is fragile and will probably play like crap, due to the rumors a la harris/favors etc. Not only will this deter orlando from wanting him in return at a later date, it will possibly dissuade deron williams from remaining with the nets long term!!!!

That Melo drama went from preseason all the way up the trade deadline. Nearly 6 months of back and forth. This needs to happen NOW.
I can’t go through another season like last year, and I’m sure most of the players don’t want that either.
But Orlando would be in same situation of team doing poorly.
DWill will give Nets an “A” for effort.

Sounds like a bad deal now, but if he doesn’t sign back with us, we will wish we could just press reset on this team. Not that I’m for it, but we aren’t in a great situation either way.
