What does Deron Williams want? Better yet, WHO does Deron Williams want? That is the question the Nets brass will have to consider whenever they start making calls around the league to agents and to other GM's. It's not as if they don't have some idea. Billy King said before the lockout he and D-Will talked and texted all the time about prospects.

Pundits will come up with names --and some are better informed than others-- but there no doubt will be other issues to deal with, like style of play, commitment to excellence, the little things that players appreciate in an organization. There's also the question of money.  The new CBA is filled with incentives and disincentives to keep players, particularly stars, at home.
